We got there just as Steve Morse’s road crew finished setting up Van Romaine’s drum kit, and then the band came in for their sound check. I’d like to thank Oblivion Sun, outstanding musicians and beyond gracious. We had some challenges with the sound for the first few tunes, but as the opener, we’re pretty low on the totem pole – but it got worked out for the most part, and we had a blast performing for a very friendly crowd. After Baba O’, we stopped and sang Happy Birthday to Jen (who turned 33 yesterday) and the whole pub joined in. McMahon’s is our home bar and we love it – especially when all our friends come out to support. We rocked the place and ran overtime just for all of you. Our next gig is Mahalo Cove in Cascades on March 14th, but we’re working to get something in between then and now, so keep an eye on our calendar for any updates.
